"Riddiculous appointments delay"

I have been at this practice since I came to Bolton at age 12....I'm now 59. I can't believe how badly managed this place is now. Since the day's of Dr. Hardman & Partners it has declined dramatically. Whilst trying to make an appointment, I was told there was nothing available, but I could call on Monday afternoon when they would be booking appointments for the week starting September 12th.(this is August 9th). Granted, the helpful receptionist offered 'overflow alternatives' at Halliwell & Deane surgeries, but that is not the point. I was also told they are very busy....fair enough, but with proper management, this situation should not arise. The pressures of the job are clearly beyond the practice managers experience. Time for a management review I think.
