This is a follow up to this mornings experience of the surgery.
I visited the local pharmacy,and was seen by a very helpful pharmacist.She advised me to try again for a surgery appointment if that failed, to ring 111 for an 'out of hours' appointment, or to visit a walk in clinic.
I took her advice, rang the surgery,and was offered a telephone appointment later in the afternoon.this happened about half an hour later, and I was offered a course of antibiotics.
The staff I had dealings with in the afternoon were brilliant, helpful and sympathetic...
