"Orthopedics"

About: University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust

Spent 14m trying to get help with an agonising back and trapped nerve, been made to jump through hoops, complete a 3m physio course, prescribed a ridiculous amount of pain killers, finally got an MRI and a referral to spinal surgeon... I chose Stoke based on previous experiences.

In an hour and a half I'd had given background in for, had physical examination and xrays. Dr said its a no brainer, clear break in the pars, detached piece of bone, misaligned verterbrae, no disc space at all and sciatic neve trapped amongst it. Spinal fusion Surgery required.

The whole experience was pleasant, clean, simple, staff were friendly and polite. 6* out 5
