"The shock of a heart attack + great treatment!"

I am recovering from a heart attack and angioplasty and wanted to take some time to write a review and thank the team in the Cardiac Unit publicly for their care and expertise in my treatment.

From the ambulance crew (who were exactly as you’d want them to be; reassuring, quick in their response and super efficient) to the team in CCU I couldn’t have been in safer hands.

I also want to mention the angioplasty and the Doctor who performed it....how clever is this procedure!! I have had no experience of cardiac care previously so to see this first hand and then be shown on screen the results of the stent was amazing.

Finally, the support workers always had time for a chat whilst working or if I was snoozing then were extra quiet and I really appreciated the time the cardiac rehabilitation nurse spent with me reassuring me It was ok to cry and there was a team and a system in place ready to help.
