"2 years wasted"

About: Royal United Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

After 2 years of being passed from pillar to post in this hospital starting in August 2016 I have asked my GP to refer me to another hospital to start all over again. RUH ENT dept , despite one excellent member of staff in Audiology, have been a disaster from beginning to end, and the letters that are written after consultations bear no resemblance to what was said. I received one 6 months after the consultation! I have constantly had to ring to ask to be seen again as my condition deteriorated. Since being seen at another hospital I had ENT, Audiology and MRI all within one month, the MRI on 2 week fast track. I now wait for the results which I am keeping my fingers crossed for. These delays have taken 2 years out of my life which I dearly would like to get back.
