"Diabetes"

About: Birley Health Centre Northern General Hospital / General medicine Royal Hallamshire Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I am having ongoing problems with regulating my diabetes and seem to be taking more and more tablets. I know I can have an appointment with one of the nurses to discuss matters but appreciate how busy they are. I wonder if it would be possible to run a support group for fellow sufferers (say once a month or even once a quarter) at the practice where ideas for diet etc could be passed around with the support of a professional. This would benefit not only those already diagnosed but those who are borderline.

I like the text reminder for appointments.
