I joined the surgery a few months ago because I thought it to be the best in Clacton. When I joined, I told my doctor and a receptionist that I was on the contraceptive pill. I spoke to the receptionist about it and she informed me it was too short notice so I would need to go to the family planning clinic to get it (which is about a 3 hour wait every time). I did so. Then 6 months later I phoned my doctors surgery again (today). I spoke to a rather rude sounding lady who said "why didn't you tell anyone you were on it?" even though I did. And "well no, you'll have to go to the clinic again now." I asked her if there were any appointments and she said "not any time soon."
I had tried to phone the surgery a week prior to this, however I was on hold for 15 minutes before I had to give up.
Wouldn't recommend this surgery to anybody due to the fact that they basically refuse to see you and provide you with contraception.
"Disappointed"
