"Refusal of MRI Scan"

I was referred by my neurological consultant for an MRI scan. After several waiting I received an appointment . I waited nearly an hour after the given time. When at last i saw the senior radiologist I was told that I could not have a scan because of my replacement heart valve with out documentation from the original hospital (nearly 30 years ago.) He would check with the Cardiac records here that it was safe to go ahead. Extremely disappointed and angry.
