"Kind, patient and kept the atmosphere light."

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I had to go to the hospital to have a Colonoscopy under sedation which meant I was very nervous beforehand and was quite groggy afterwards. Every single member of staff I came into contact with at the hospital was lovely - very kind, patient and kept the atmosphere light and my nerves at bay. Every step was explained to me and a nurse was with me, holding my hand and reassuring me throughout the procedure.

Thank you all very much.

Hi Grateful667

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide feedback after your recent visit to the Endoscopy Unit.

I have passed on your lovely comments to the team. We are happy to hear that your experience was such a positive one.

A visit to our department can, understandably, be quite daunting and I am glad that the staff were able to make things easier for you.

Best Wishes

Pauline and the Endoscopy team
