"Terrible for repeated prescription"

My GP put me on repeated prescription for the contraceptive pill so I did not have to make appointments every single time (Since when you book no one is available until 2 to 3 weeks later minimum). He arranges this for me so I can just get my pills with no visits, I call to get it delivered and now they tell me I have to go there to be seen by the GB. I am going on holidays for 2 weeks and I will have no pills. Ridiculous. I do understand they want to check my blood pressure but don;t tell me I don't have to come to then last minute leave me with no pills. Now I have to spend 3h in a walk in to get them? Utter nonsense. At least they could have issued one for now and booked me to check my blood when I am back. So unhelpful and ridiculous.
