I recently stayed in Wishaw General following surgery after a difficult and worrying time. The care I recieved from admission to discharge was outstanding. I was admitted to day surgery where the anaesthestist and consultant both discussed at length the procedure and processes about to take place. At this point I was beginning to feel very nervous but due to reassurance from the anaesthtist, consulant and nursing sfaff I began to feel more at ease. I was then transferred to ward 13 for 3 days and the post op care I recieved was first class. Both nursing and medical staff were exceptional and I was cared for with the upmost dignity, compassion and respect. I cannot fault anything about my stay in Wishaw general and although it wasa difficult and worrying time the staff made my experience a lot more bearable
"A positive experience"
