What I liked

Following a telephone call to NHS direct and speaking to a kind and helpful lady there, I was advised to visit the nearest walk-in centre as soon as possible, this being Hemel Hempstead (the full details of which were passed to me over the phone - again very helpful).

I received a truly excellent service from the Urgent Care team at Hemel. Reception, the nurse and the doctor were all totally professional, caring, considerate, informative and friendly. The Urgent Care Centre was not at all busy when I visited; they dedicated plenty of time to assessing and helping me, and with a prompt diagnosis and a chat with the doctor I left feeling much better than before my visit! From my experience I'd thoroughly recommend!
