"Rude receptionists yet again!!"

About: 3/Springfield House Medical Practice

Absolutely distgusting!! I have been at this doctors since I was a young girl. Now age 31 I am moving doctors after this morning.

I went to pick my prescription up. I put it in on 19/6/17 this date as I didn't need any till then.

On my prescription was a note to say I need an appointment with a doctor as I last had my tablets prescribed 6/3/17 (I am not going to get prescriptions unless I need them)

On trying to make an appointment, the receptionist was very rude. Apparently there were n appointments and I would have to ring Friday for Monday. Even though I understand this is precedure as needing these tablets for a mental health issue and putting it in two weeks ago I need these tablet as priority. I said I will go AnE . The receptionist replied with a disgusting attitude 'you do that then' I said I'll mention the name of the doctors and their name and explain why I was there again with a distgusting attitude 'yeh you do that'. I will be making an even further complaint to the NHS on how I have been treated. Mental Heath issues are serious and people like me get pushed aside as it's not classed as important.

In Result of this I am going to change my doctors even after 20+ years as a patient here.

Never in my life have I been treated with such distgusting manners and rudeness.

Dear Patient

I'm sorry that you have been left feeling let down and treated inappropriately. Your comments directly to us would have been appreciated including the receptionists name. This would have given us the opportunity of speaking to the receptionist and obtaining the detail surrounding the incident. However it is respected that you have sought an alternative choice in reporting this to the NHS. If you would still like to take the opportunity of reporting this to the practice, we will of course look into this for you.

Kind regards

Lyndsay Rodway - Practice Manager
