"A life changing help"

After receiving the news I was pregnant I was terrified. Myself and my partner had used contraception so I was shocked on discovering the news. I was so nervous about the steps to take but from my phoning the main number to going to the clinic to have the procedure it was extremely straightforward. I was put at ease straight away and the whole procedure was explained to me. I was able to book an appointment on the same day and unfortunately because I was early I had to have bloods and a scan done to confirm the pregnancy. The second time I visited the clinic I was met with sympathetic and extremely understanding staff and not judged at all. The girls who looked after me were so helpful and put me at ease as soon as I walked in. I was given advice on further contraception which I went with. I never thought I would’ve found myself in that situation but I’m so much more understanding of abortions now and am so glad services like this are available. It just proves that even using contraception isn’t always guaranteed and services like this are around for this reason. I’m so grateful that the procedure was straightforward and simple. It was a terrifying decision but I was made to feel comfortable and was given all the help I needed. I hope this is passed onto the Doncaster clinic (both clinics). Thank you so much
