A&E doctors and treatment were fantastic.

What could be improved

Once transferred to Ward 8E, no ability to communicate properly about my mother's care: doctor never available to speak to. Rude treatment from switchboard operator.

Thank you for the feedback, and I we apologise that your mother suffered from poor communication. The change from one department or ward to another should be seamless, and apologies this wasn't the experience for your mother. We will make sure the relevant staff are aware of the problems that poor communication can affect a patient and their families.
