On 3rd August 2018 I was admitted to Bev Stokes Day Surgery Unit for a minor operation. I was very impressed by the staff, their commitment, professionalism, and care they demonstrated throughout, including: receptionists; nurses; consultant and other medical staff. The procedure itself went smoothly and I was kept informed throughout about the progress, particular aspects of the intervention and what I should expect. The staff have also provided me with drinks and even food was offered. All relevant explanation was clearly given to me prior to release. I have to say the overall experience surpassed my expectations and it was basically a very pleasant one, which may sound rather unusual considering stress, anticipation and an inevitable fear associated with a surgery! Again, I was extremely satisfied and very impressed!.
P.S. Please note that the Unit is not listed under "Which Department did you visit" question below, so I left: "Don't know"
