What I liked

The staff were absolutely fantstic, I was taken into the minor injuries unit because I had severe breathing difficulty whilst I was on holiday. I was assessed immediately by a very kind nurse and then straight away by a Doctor, I was advised that I might have a blood clot on my lungs. I was transfered by emercency ambulance to Wansbeck General. This was all in a matter of 10 minutes.

I am so grateful for all there help and expert care and advice, because I was advised that any further delay would have resulted in my death.

I will always be grateful for the speed at which my care was done.

The result was a bilateral pulmonary embolism, and I'm on the road to recover now but it will be a long recovery.
