"Didn't listen to the parent"

About: Goldthorpe Medical Centre Pms Practice

My daughter came in June with upper abdo pain. After months of been told it's digestive. I had to beg for her to have a chest x-ray. Which when we came on 5th Feb we got the results and she got diagnosed with a congenital problem with her ribs. The advanced practice nurse booked us with Barnsley hospital for a telephone consultation. This happened yesterday. Only to be told Barnsley cannot deal with the medical issue my daughter has and now has to wait till 19th March to see someone at Doncaster hospital. She is constant pain. She is in year 11 at school het final year. Is having to be off from school due to pain. I am just dumbfounded that this has taken since June 2017. And where still no nearer. It shouldn't have been the nurse telling us the results of the chest x-ray. As obviously she didn't know what it was they had found. Because if she had known she would have know not to refer us to Barnsley. I will be back in touch on the outcome of this 19th March app.
