"Excellent care"

We would like to say a very big thank you to the ambulance men and the staff in resus at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital who looked after our 87 year old Mum yesterday afternoon. We were visiting our elderly aunt in Fulham when our Mum lost her balance in the street and had a horrible fall sustaining a head injury and broken hip. The ambulance arrived very quickly and the two ambulance men treated her with respect and compassion. They were very thorough and very kind .

She was transported to the Chelsea and Westminster and immediately taken to resus.The care she received was amazing. The resus /trauma team really looked after her and made sure she was free from pain. We were very impressed with the speed in which she was seen , how well informed we were about the results of the tests , X-rays and scans she received and by the clear explanation of proposed treatment by the orthopaedic consultant. Thank you so much .
