"The Maternity Ward and Neonatal Unit"

About: Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital / Maternity

I had my baby 2 months early and ended up staying at the hospital for 2 weeks as I became unwell. During my stay the care of the maternity team i.e doctors, midwives, surgeons, was second to none. The nurses and midwives I was dealing with in a daily basis could not have been more personable, caring, sympathetic and would always go out of their way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. This was such an emotional and stressful time for me but thanks to the team here my extended stay was made much more bearable.

My baby stayed in the Neonatal unit for 3 weeks plus and again the team in the Neonatal ward were amazing. I was so impressed with the care I received at this hospital and can say that confidently having had my first baby at a different hospital which was a very different experience.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.

I am always pleased to read lovely, positive comments about the care and treatment patients have received. I have shared your kind words with the clinical leaders and the team who will be delighted and greatly encouraged by them.
