"My husband was refused treatment at Stepping Hill Hospital"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital

(as a staff member),

my husband was referred for a scan to arrange for a surgery on a varicose vein, I thought the treatment he received was a disgrace. He was assessed by 2 other specialists, in other hospital and was agreed he needed the surgery, now at Stepping Hill the specialist said his pain was not as strong as it should be so he was not going to give him treatment!!!

my husband has been on tramadol and codeine for the past 6 months, he had to take painkiller to be able to get there, he keeps crying of pain, being depressed and not being able to enjoy our newborn...

I am really appalled at the way he has been treated at this hospital
