"Lack of good administration"

About: Homewell. Curlew Practice

I needed a blood test two weeks prior to my bone density injection therefore four weeks before the injection due date I phoned to request a blood test form. The receptionist informed me that she would send a request to my GP. A week later it hadn't arrived so I phoned the surgery again and the receptionist said she would put a form in the post. It arrived four days later and by that time I couldn't get an appointment at Havant Blood Clinic in time for the injection.

I decided then to go to the walk in Blood Clinic at QA but then sprained my wrist so I couldn't drive and had to travel by bus.

If the form had arrived after the first phone call I would have obtained an appointment at Havant Blood Clinic and walked there.

Sadly the surgery's administration skills are lacking

Dear Patient

We are sorry to hear that you have not had a particularly good experience here at the practice.

We are always glad to receive patients feedback so that we can work harder to improve our services.

We will feedback and work with the reception team to hopefully ensure that in future the service is more streamlined.

We hope that you are in good health now.
