What I liked

My mother was admitted to your hospital in October,unfortunately is was not a good experience for her. She was admitted with heart troubles,and the first few days where ok but then it went downhill once she was moved to a different room. They food was cold and the girl serving it on Saturday night was extremely rude to both her and another patiend who was being attended to by a nurse.( I know this as I was there at the time) I did phone up about the cold food and a gentlemen assured me that the matter was being dealt with unfortuately 24 hours later the food was still cold and for the rest of her stay stayed the same. So much for being dealt with. She also suffered with eye trouble which she had oitment for, but it was never administed so by the time she came out she could hardly open her eyes.

This is not good as my mother is 88 years old and is dying, she has now developed another complaint which needs hospital treatment but is refusing to go from her nursing home back to the hospital as she feels tthat they do not care, especially as she is so old.

This is a disgusting way to treat our elderly patients and I feel very sorry that my mum had to experience this on her last few months.

What could be improved

Treating the elderly with respect and definately serving food at the right temperature. I feel I have made these complaints but nothing will change.
