"Awful maternity services, great neonatal unit"

What could be improved

Maternity staff have lost their sense of good old fashioned person to person contact and rapport . Perhaps down and dejected about the state of the nhs but even so, it costs nothing to be nice! Simple manners, courtesy and consideration of a mother who had a very ill child on the neonatal unit was not shown. Sent home from this hospital with pain and in slow labour. My baby was born 24hours later at just 26 weeks. Appalled with care and treament by some members of staff however,could not fault the fantastic neonatal unit.
