"Very fortunate to have this level of care on my doorstep"

I had reason to visit QMH last night due to acquiring a fairly painful Corneal Abrasion . When I arrived the dept was fairly busy. I was seen very promptly. The nurse in attendance ( I believe her name was Katrine) was extremely kind, very efficient and administered local anaesthetic right away. Both her and the gentleman ENP Roy spoke to me, explained and arranged an emergency clinic appointment for later today at the Opthamology clinic . Both were extremely professional , whilst also dealing with an agitated patient who wandered through the dept demanding attention who was due to be seen by another service. . They calmed this patient down , and explained that they would be seen promptly . All in all a very positive visit for me. Id be gratful if you would pass on my thanks to both members of staff for my treatment . Very fortunate to have this level of care on my doorstep. Thank you once again.
