"Feeling let down"

I have been with townhill surgery for just over 4 years. I have been going back and forth with my back pain and my weight problem but have either been told it’s muscle related or I just need phsyio. My weight has become a big problem and I have been on tier 2 for about a year but been trying to lose weight even before I moved doctors. I also feel like parts of my medical notes either have been kept up to date (found that out when I have my medication upped but denied the repeat perscription as my notes had not been updated to state the dose had been raised). 

I have been trying to get a face to face with another doctor for months and finally got one but I need another face to face due to needing to go into detail about some of the information needed from me. 

At times I have found the receptionists to either be rude or snotty with me and I feel this is because of my age. My husband calls to book my appointments as I find it very hard to talk to the respectionists as feel I always seem to catch them when they are having a bad day. 

What I would love to see changed is telephone manner and how you deal with your patience as well as making sure that people coming in for an appointment feel a bit more comfortable than feeling unwelcome. 

Despite my negative points the nurses are fabulous and very welcoming.
