Unsympathetic radiologist asking mother with broken leg to get her self onto bed and wheel chair only to see the seriousness of the accident in A&E.
No consideration for mother and child under 1.
E,g moving mother to ward where breast feeding child is not allowed to stay.
Language used for the move meant patient had to fight to stay in a side room as per policy for mother and under 5 for a side room.
Lack of awareness and communication between staff
e.g Breakfast was the last meal then operation cancelled so lunch was available and then was told (off) as why patient had eaten lunch because surgery was scheduled and then flipped again to say it was off.
Case was rated an emergency however still waiting for transfer to Addenbrooke almost week later.
No towels in the bathroom to dry hands.
Kitchen unable to respond to movements of patients to different wards when providing meals.
Pain killers (drugs) were not administer one day which left mother in pain.
"Lack of coordination and information"
