My husband had a knee replacement and was given crutches with the instructions NOT to return them to the hospital but to ring the telephone number on.the label on them . Done this today but as no profile has been set up for him by the hospital they can't accept them . Told them that we can't return them to the hospital . Told us if that is the case take them to a charity shop or dispose of them .
What a waste of NHS resources !!!!
