"Cancelled my medication without notice!"

About: The Limes Medical Centre

Called to get repeat prescription of my medication to find out they had cancelled my prescription (no reason or notes on their system as to why).

When I ask for an emergency supply I am advised that they cannot provide without a review and questioned if I actually had the condition at all - very odd!.

I asked for an over the telephone consultation at which point they should have advised that it isn't possible to do with my condition but they agreed.

They didn't call me at the agreed time so I missed the call, they then advised that despite the agreement to do the consultation over the phone I had to come in and have a review in person - so wasted my time and a whole week.

For some reason they decided it was appropriate for a pharmacist to take the call, she was very curt and quite sarcastic when rearranging my appointment, I stated I couldn't make the suggest time 2 days later and was told that was my only option - my elderly father is having cancer treatment and I have to now find him a way to get there due to the inflexibility of the surgery.

I am sorry to hear that you have been unhappy with how your medication has been dealt with. If you would like to call and speak with myself or our patient liaison manager, Andrew Bailey, I am sure that we will be able to explain what has happened and assist in the matter.

Many thanks
