"The staff were lovely - but unaware of my treatment"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Breast surgery

(as the patient),

The staff here were lovely, friendly and always smiling without exception. The night clinical practitioner on duty Thursday was very abrupt and only spoke to ask if I was in pain. They then kicked my slippers under the bed and in the middle of the night I had difficulty getting them to go to the bathroom. I felt they were acting like they didn't enjoy their job.

The nursing staff were not aware that I needed a temporary pad in my bra. also the nurse did not know that I did not have to phone hospital for my fluid loss. They had very poor knowledge of my treatment.
