We need showers in seclusion rooms we also need to recruit more staff because there isn't enough staff and incidents happen on the ward and also need to look at staff because its hard to go out on leave

Dear Normapy75,

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding in full to your posting.

One of my colleagues is just finishing a business case to the Trust for refurbishing the Women's Services seclusion suite and Intensive Care Unit. This includes making shower facilities more accessible. We will keep patients and staff undated about the progress of getting funding and approval for this project.

There is a national shortage of qualified nurses in the UK at the moment that is affecting staffing in all hospitals accross the country. We are actively recruiting more qualified nurses and looking at other ways to get staff qualified to take on the nurse role.

We always try to reschedule leave that has been cancelled. We will be sharing with patients the statistics for cancelled and rescheduled leaves at the next patient forum, and plan do this regularly
