What I liked
On Thursday 3/11/11 at approx 11.30pm was taken into Kings Mill with a suspected Heart attack.
This proved to be correct after various tests in A&E and EAU. I was told my Op would be on Monday 7th. partly due to my condition deteriorating on Friday morning and the theatre being ahead of schedule, the doctor arranged for an immediate op around 11.00am.Special thanks goes to all involved in the coronary angioplasty op and all involved in the recovery room for 5 hours after the op.
I am sure if you let them know the pink phone man sends his thanks, they will know who this is.
Whilst I would hope not to repeat the experience, if it should ever happen again, I would have every confidence in Kings Mill to deal with the situation. Well done.
Please pass on my thanks to all your staff in A&E, EAU, Heart Ops room especially all the recovery nurses and also ward 23.
I now look forward to a Healthy future working with your reham team.
I also want to give a big thank you to your Paramedic and ambulance team who acted so quick and professionally and hope I will find another web site to do this or we will drop in a card/letter at Sutton Road.
What could be improved
On a very small negative, the cleaning, particularly the floor on ward 23 was not effective, furniture not moved and dust left on the floor.
