Being referred as an urgent case by my GP to be seen within 2 weeks for a cancer screen is scary. This nurse run service is to be commended. I was made to feel at ease, dealt with by experts in their field, given time to ask my questions. Added advantage that the clinic is run by all female staff who all seemed astutely aware of my emotional needs so much so I actually forgot the potential seriousness of my hospital visit.
