"Surgery Cancelled"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Ear, Nose and Throat

After waiting months for an appointment to come through for an operation date, I was given an appointment for August 2nd. However, I have had a call this morning advising me that my operation has been cancelled as the consultant needs to be elsewhere. I am really disappointed with the service received as I had to book time off and arrange transport for an operation that has now been cancelled. Next available date was 7 weeks away and will impact my work massively, as I will need to try and cancel my leave and rebook this. My tonsils are causing me many issues and I feel as though I am now going to be struggling for another 2 months before getting anything sorted. Very disappointing service.
