About: Colchester General Hospital

Not sure how this hospital can even gain one star when no one answers the telephone. The nhs goes on and on about people not turning up for appointments- maybe that’s because people can’t cancel/rearrange them as no one answers the phone!? Shameful. Every dept the switchboard tried to put me through to was unavailable. This was from 3pm onwards. Nice early finish for everyone on Friday eh?? So much for patient concern..

Oh and the switchboard operator thought it was funny. Umm, no. My child’s health is NOT funny. Actually it’s all a bit stressful. Nice one Colchester. Very unpleasant staff.
