on my recent surgery at thornbury l found the night staff absolute fantastic , very friendly , then the morning staff arrived , they were bitter ,no smiles and seemed out for a argument , although l used the best of manners, l dreaded them coming to the hostpital room , the physiotherapist came telling me to do impossible movements, l tried explaining that l had srugery15 hours ago and due to the swelling l couldn't move my arm , who then told a nurse to remove my post recover bandages causing further swelling and risk of infection and caused further swelling , l felt like l was a burden , don't know why l was treated like this , l was a nhs patient ,thats the only thing l could think of why l was been treated like this , this is the 2nd operation l have had with the same surgeon who was so polite and helpful ,l think the staff there should follow suit , l ended up getting ready and walked out even though in extreme pain . my experience other than the surgeon and the night nurses was not nice and has caused me much distress and will never go back to thornbury , and definitely taking this further
