About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

I have just returned home after a stay at Royal Blackburn for an emergency removal of my appendix.

I stayed both in wards B14 and C14B and can honestly say the care I received was second to none.

All the staff were amazing, caring, reassuring, professional and knowledgeable. The wards were spotlessly clean and the food was lovely. This was the first time I have ever been admitted to hospital in my 48 years and I couldn't have been looked after any better.

Thank you to all the staff involved in my care, they do an amazing job and work so hard, they were all a credit to the NHS, thank you.
