"Please keep patients informed with waiting times"

I phoned up on Friday for a Monday appointment at my local GP surgery. I arrived at 3.55pm for a 4.00pm appointment, checked in on the automated screen. I was still waiting at 4.28pm and nobody had come to tell me that they were running late. In total I waited 56mins.

Please keep patients informed with waiting times! We had to sit in the small, hot room with people's germs everywhere from where all of the ill people have been coughing.

There wasn't even a window open let alone the double doors which open out into the garden which has recently had a lot of money spent on it, and as I understand it even in the summer people aren't allowed out there!!

What a waste!
