"Frustrating and Disappointing"

I have been with this practice for almost 3 years.

I have found all the Drs wonderful but trying to get an appointment is ludicrous, I work in town and after waiting around to phone in at at 8.30 or 2.30, usually the 3-4 slots available on that day have gone so not only am I then very late to get into work, I still have no appointment.

Most of the time I end up just going to the walk in centre, last time was a 4 hour wait but i at least get seen, however, I can't get a sick note if needed.

It's a shame, I'm going to change as I've felt really supported by my Doctor and the phone conultations can be helpful.

I cannot understand why they are advertising saying new clients, welcome when they absolutely can't accommodate those they already have.

Extremely frustrating and disappointing

I was sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the service. The Practice offers online bookable appointments. If you’re not already registered for this service, you will need to attend the surgery with photo ID and complete a form, the receptionist will issue you with a token for you to register online. Once you have registered, you are able to request repeat prescriptions and book appointments online, these can be on the day appointments and book in advance.

The Practice will soon be starting E-Consult in the new year, this will allow patients to request sick notes and GP letters and ask about recent tests. This service will also allow you to ask questions regarding a condition or to gain advice. This service will not give you an instant answer but we will answer within 48 hours.
