"Very empathetic service"

About: Royal National Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital

First visit to this hospital, came to see a hearing therapist as I am struggling to deal with my worsening hearing impairment.

Buildings very old and a bit shabby but staff really helpful and kind. I was listened to and treated with empathy and respect, something that has been sadly lacking in my local hospital. A clear forward plan was agreed with me and I was then given a choice of times/dates for future appointments.

Sadly there isn't probably a "fix" for my deafness but I now feel much more confident that I will receive the best possible help and support in the months/years to come.
