Hello I gave birth to my daughter on the 16 July at heartlands at 7:01 pm. My labour experience was really hard as I had to go through 24hours labour and in the end had to go to the operation theatre as my baby’s face was upwards instead of downwards. The prenatal care was absolutely amazing, next level staff and guidance was throughout. And even in the operation theatre the whole staff was well cooperative. But in the maple ward after the delivery that’s where they take you for the afterwards care was pathetic and unacceptable *the midwives were rude not being helpful at all. Also there was a patient next to my bed she had gone through the same process but she was getting one to one support throughout. There was a midwife 24/7 next to her bed. When asking ta midwife to give me the baby from the cot the night I was moved to the ward the then her reply was you need to pick her yourself you haven’t had any c section. Over all the staff at birth ward was very rude.
Thanks
