"Appalling service"

About: Burnley Practice

I wanted to find out if needed injections to travel abroad. I was told that I needed an appointment but there wasn’t any in time before I went and to goggle travel clinic. I was given the same information on all 4 of my calls. I was talked over and the receptionist was in no uncertain terms unwilling to help me in anyway. I am new to the area so did not know where the travel clinic was and also was unaware of the process of booking appointments for this. The receptionists are extremely unhelpful and have no empathy for their patients and are unwilling to help or provide a suitable solution. I was promised a call back from the practice manager but they left to go on a 2 week holiday before this happened. It has left me very angry and frustrated when the practice has a duty of care to ensure that I am vaccinated correctly so that I don’t bring any diseases back into the country and cost the NHS more money. After all of this, it may result in me not needing any vaccinations, it would not have taken long for this to be checked against my records and prevent this problem.
