"16 year old and the pill. Dr’s. treatment"

my family have just moved to this Dr’s. the first visit we saw the nurse, such a lovely kind lady. Really put us at ease & was very friendly. When my daughter saw the Dr. It was a completely different story! He was rude, dissmissive and came accross as very arrogant. My daughter went about the pill she is on and the onset of side effects was was experiencing. As a 16 year old girl trying to be responsible i would have expected more respect. She came out of the surgery upset because the Dr. Basically made her feel like a fool!? She asked about he implant & was told forgetting to take the pill was not a reason to have it & was told that she should have done her ‘research’. I was actually very shocked and saddened as a mother. Especially as she was worried about seeing a man & i tried to reassure her that he would be supportive & informative! Felt like i was in the 1950’s.
