"VERY DISAPPOINTED"

About: National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery - Queen Square

I came to the Hospital following months of illness and after dozens of appointments with Consultants and Doctors, all agreeing that most of my symptoms were pointing to an Autonomic Dysfunction. The Consultant admitted English wasn’t their first language and as a result I had trouble communicating with them, explaining my currents symptoms and months of medical history and tests etc. They didn’t seem very interested in my current symptoms and left me felling belittled and unimportant, I don’t take handouts, claim benefits and hate being unwell. I know they are busy and under a lot of pressure, but I don’t understand how they can make an accurate diagnosis if they are unable to understand your symptoms? I felt very let down.
