"Horrible and unprofessional staff - badly managed"

Probably one of the worse GP Practices I've ever been to. I was a registered patient since they opened in the new location at Royal Arsenal. Previously I have used two doctors, and they were great and helped me for many years. The practice maybe had a change of management or something else that made the two doctors I used to love to move away from the practice. Since then, I was seen every time by a different doctor, which couldn't know me and my previous history. The consultations didn't help at all when they had to search through my patient records in seconds and then try to make a decision. Another month goes by, and I was seen by a new doctor.

The reception staff seem to be always on edge, and they are the first GP that I've visited that have a glass barrier between you and the staff, which makes the communication quite tricky and you end up shouting over the glass some private information.

They aren't trained at all for patients with mental health issues, so if you are there, in front of the glass asking for help, without a bleeding nose...a broken nose, you are dismissed as non-urgent care. For many times I almost had to beg to see a doctor or get an appointment that wouldn't take over two weeks. I always had a judgmental look from them when asking to see someone or to make an appointment and several times I had to say out loud the reason for, which was quite embarrassing to me at the time. After years of being registered there and after some appalling service, I was, forced to leave, as they refuse to help me. I got a very distasteful call from one of the team just saying that they refused to renew my prescription (that would be the 3rd time) and before I could ask the reason, the person hangs up the phone leaving me with no hope and in distress.

Please do not register to this practice and if you are suffering from their bad service, do complain to NHS, your MP and move away from them.
