"Torn calf muscle not improving as much as expected"

I was recommended to come along after my GP couldn't see me until August.

I had torn my calf and wanted to check it was not more seriously the Achilles and that I was applying the correct treatment (anti inflamatories, icing etc)

Was seen by the nurse very promptly, guiding on treatment over the next weeks and confirmed it was as I expected and also told me to expect slow progress.

Not the best news obviously but did put my mind at rest that I wasn't making it worse so very grateful- thank you.
