"Unhappy with Wythenshawe Hospital food"

About: Wythenshawe Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I have been in Wythenshawe Hospital twice now in two months.

The food is virtually uneatable. Breakfast consisted of toast (dry cardboard) and jam, Lunch was the choice of a sandwich or a baked potato. The sandwich must have been made days beforehand as it was always dry. The baked potatoes were still hard in the middle.

Evening meal was very poor, lumpy mash, frozen mixed veg that was not cooked properly.

The only good tea I had was a cornish pasty as they could not do much to that. I ended up having meals brought in to me from outside so that I could eat. There did not seem to be anyone to complaint to about the food.

I am due back soon for an operation and I am thinking of saying I am Muslim or Jewish as the meals looked great.
