"Absolutely appalling!"

So went into ANE triage nurse was absolutely lovely. Went into a cubicle and the care I received was of a good standard, not the best. First of all the nurse whose name I remeber very well was absolutely disrespectful to the poor student nurse who he was working with. The staff nurse was arguing with the student nurse, in the middle of the corridor, telling her of, looking down on her all because she was a student. The same student was absolutely fantastic the care which I received from her was better than the nurse himself. Working in the nhs myself, there were clear breaches of confidentiality by the staff nurse. The student clearly stated she does not want to continue arguing but the staff nurse raised his voice. There were lots of poorly patients who could hear their conversation also, which is not needed. Very unprofessional. When asked to see nurse in charge no one approached us. The the nurse who is in charge of the whole department (ANE) was talking to the same staff nurse about the student. These were her exact words.. ‘ she is not trusted to be around patients, she’s unreliable ‘ talking about the student. Now I think that is poor management. How can she say that no knowing the students side and to say the staff nurse was in the wrong and not the student this could jeopardise the third years student whole career. Being in pain and listening to this honeslty broke my heart and my heart goes out to the student working in this attrocuious work place . It is work place bullying and this should not be tolerated.
