"Treatment after a fall"

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

After a fall in May I attended the Urgent care and although wait was nearly 4 hours once I was seen by the Nurse practitioner I was ex-rayed and given a splint. Next day received a call from Cramlington after x-rays had been assessed to say there were 2 breaks in my wrist.

I later had a scan and saw 2 doctors on different days. Treatment was very good and I was more than happy with how I was dealt with.

Splint is now off and next stage physio.

Well done to all in Urgent Care and Fracture Clinic

Dear Marg,

I am so sorry to hear of your wrist injury, I hope it is on the mend? I’m so pleased our team in urgent care and fracture clinic were able to provide you with the care that you needed at this time, they will be delighted to receive this feedback.

Good luck with your physio, please do let us know if we can be of anymore assistance.

Best wishes,

Jan
