Firstly the female volunteer on B3 is lovely. So polite, very friendly and easy to talk to. Brought a smile to my face, such a helpful lady and I wish her all the best for her future, no doubts if she carrys on like she is then she will go far. She is a natural - give the lass a permanent job. So nice of people like her to give up their free time to sit with patients like myself and help take some pressure off nursing staff especially when they are run off their feet the way they are.
B3 nursing staff and doctors have been fantastic, couldn't have wished for better treatment from anyone. Domestic staff are also fab, each member of staff deserves a medal they are all just brilliant. Nothing is ever too much. Always a smile on their faces, a very happy and friendly bunch indeed. It makes the difficult times much better when your treated with dignity and respect and happy, friendly faces are always a bonus.
Food - lovely. So many people complain about hospital food but it has actually been really nice to what it used to be, good sized portions, always hot so thanks also to catering staff.
Thank you.
